Provide high-quality and compassionate patient care in accordance with nursing standards and protocols.<\/p>\n
Take responsibility for the well-being and safety of patients during the post-operative recovery process.<\/p>\n
Monitor patient vital signs, pain levels, and other post-operative complications.<\/p>\n
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.<\/p>\n
Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including medication management, wound care, and potential complications.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records and documentation.<\/p>\n
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to prevent the spread of infection.<\/p>\n
Utilize critical thinking skills to anticipate and respond to changes in patient condition.<\/p>\n
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.<\/p>\n
Act as a resource and mentor for nursing students and new hires.<\/p>\n
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.<\/p>\n
Stay informed about current nursing practices and advancements in post-operative care.<\/p>\n

Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Ohio.<\/p>\n

Bls And Acls Certifications From The American Heart Association.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (Pacu).<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Knowledge Of Post-Operative Care And Pain Management Techniques.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals.<\/p>\n
