Provide respiratory therapy services to patients in a compassionate and professional manner.<\/p>\n
Assess and evaluate patient’s respiratory needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.<\/p>\n
Administer respiratory treatments and medications according to physician orders.<\/p>\n
Monitor and adjust mechanical ventilation settings for patients in critical care.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive respiratory care plans.<\/p>\n
Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.<\/p>\n
Monitor and maintain respiratory equipment, ensuring proper function and cleanliness.<\/p>\n
Stay up-to-date with advancements in respiratory therapy techniques and technology.<\/p>\n
Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.<\/p>\n
Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.<\/p>\n
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.<\/p>\n
Provide support and assistance to other respiratory therapy staff as needed.<\/p>\n
Continuously assess and improve respiratory therapy practices to ensure the highest quality of care.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s Degree In Respiratory Therapy Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.<\/p>\n

Current And Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (Rrt) Credential From The National Board For Respiratory Care (Nbrc).<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Active State Licensure As A Respiratory Therapist In Ohio.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Respiratory Therapist In A Hospital Setting.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Advanced Certifications Such As Neonatal-Pediatric Specialist (Nps) Or Adult Critical Care Specialist (Accs) Preferred.<\/p>\n
