Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients recovering from thoracic surgeries.<\/p>\n
Work collaboratively with a team of experienced nurses and physicians to deliver excellent patient outcomes.<\/p>\n
Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient safety and adhere to all safety protocols and standards.<\/p>\n
Continuously monitor and assess patient status, recognizing and reporting any changes to the healthcare team.<\/p>\n
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and document all care provided accurately.<\/p>\n
Assist with patient education and discharge planning, ensuring a smooth transition from the hospital to home.<\/p>\n
Adhere to Cleveland Clinic’s policies and procedures, as well as all regulatory standards and guidelines.<\/p>\n
Participate in ongoing learning and professional development opportunities to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.<\/p>\n
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while providing exceptional customer service to patients and their families.<\/p>\n
Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are respected at all times.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Current Rn License In The State Of Ohio.<\/p>\n

Bachelor’s Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Program.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience In A Stepdown Or Intermediate Care Unit.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Cpr And Acls Certification.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Critical Thinking And Communication Skills, As Well As The Ability To Work Well In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.<\/p>\n
