Design and develop innovative and high-performing athletic apparel that aligns with Under Armour’s brand and mission.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, marketing, and sales to ensure all designs meet performance, aesthetic, and market requirements.<\/p>\n
Stay updated on market trends and consumer preferences to inform design decisions and maintain a competitive edge in the athletic apparel industry.<\/p>\n
Conduct research and gather insights on athlete needs and preferences to inform the design process.<\/p>\n
Create detailed design sketches, technical drawings, and specifications for apparel products.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with product development teams to ensure designs can be effectively and efficiently produced.<\/p>\n
Participate in sample fittings and provide feedback to ensure designs meet fit and performance standards.<\/p>\n
Monitor and manage timelines to ensure timely completion of design projects.<\/p>\n
Continuously seek out new and innovative materials and techniques to incorporate into designs.<\/p>\n
Mentor and train junior designers, providing guidance and feedback to foster their growth and development.<\/p>\n
Adhere to design standards and processes to maintain consistency and quality across all products.<\/p>\n
Actively participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to drive innovation and improvement within the department.<\/p>\n
Maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with all team members.<\/p>\n
