Assist licensed pharmacists in dispensing medication to patients accurately and efficiently.<\/p>\n
Ensure all prescriptions are filled in a timely manner and according to Walgreens’ policies and procedures.<\/p>\n
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area.<\/p>\n
Process insurance claims and handle patient payments.<\/p>\n
Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and address any questions or concerns they may have.<\/p>\n
Learn and understand the various medications and their uses in order to provide accurate information to patients.<\/p>\n
Adhere to all state and federal pharmacy regulations and laws.<\/p>\n
Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.<\/p>\n
Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and efficiency within the pharmacy.<\/p>\n
Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.<\/p>\n
Assist in inventory management and ordering of medications and supplies.<\/p>\n
Follow safety and security protocols to prevent theft and ensure the safety of patients and team members.<\/p>\n
Communicate effectively with pharmacists and other team members to ensure a cohesive and efficient work environment.<\/p>\n
Perform other duties as assigned by the pharmacy manager or supervising pharmacist.<\/p>\n
