Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting patients and customers in a friendly and professional manner.<\/p>\n
Utilize knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication handling to accurately and efficiently fill prescriptions.<\/p>\n
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when entering and verifying prescription information.<\/p>\n
Communicate effectively with patients, doctors, and insurance companies to ensure timely and accurate processing of prescriptions.<\/p>\n
Follow all standard operating procedures to maintain a safe and clean working environment.<\/p>\n
Assist in inventory management and order processing to ensure an adequate supply of medications.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with pharmacists and other pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.<\/p>\n
Provide support and guidance to less experienced pharmacy technicians.<\/p>\n
Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding pharmacy operations and patient confidentiality.<\/p>\n
Continuously update knowledge of medications, procedures, and regulations to provide the best possible service to customers.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Certified Pharmacy Technician At Walgreens Must Have Completed High School Or Obtained A Ged.<\/p>\n

Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht) Certification: Walgreens Requires All Its Pharmacy Technicians To Be Certified By The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (Ptcb) Or The National Healthcareer Association (Nha).<\/p>\n

Experience In A Retail Pharmacy Setting: Walgreens Prefers Candidates With At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience As A Pharmacy Technician In A Retail Pharmacy Setting.<\/p>\n

Knowledge Of Pharmacy Operations And Regulations: A Certified Pharmacy Technician At Walgreens Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Pharmacy Operations, Including Filling Prescriptions, Managing Inventory, And Adhering To State And Federal Regulations.<\/p>\n
