Dispensing medication: As a Pharmacist at Walgreens, your primary responsibility will be to accurately and safely dispense medication to our customers in accordance with state and federal regulations.<\/p>\n
Ensuring proper medication usage: You will be responsible for educating and counseling patients on how to properly use their prescribed medications, including potential side effects and drug interactions.<\/p>\n
Prescription processing: You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing prescription orders, including verifying insurance coverage and communicating with physicians as needed.<\/p>\n
Monitoring drug inventory: Pharmacist will be responsible for monitoring and managing drug inventory levels to ensure adequate supply for our customers.<\/p>\n
Collaborating with healthcare professionals: As part of our commitment to providing exceptional healthcare services, you will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care for our patients.<\/p>\n
Adhering to safety protocols: It is the Pharmacist’s responsibility to follow all safety protocols and procedures, such as handling and storing medications appropriately, to ensure the safety of our customers and employees.<\/p>\n
Maintaining accurate records: You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of dispensed medications, patient information, and inventory levels.<\/p>\n
Providing excellent customer service: As a representative of Walgreens, you will be expected to provide excellent customer service to our patients, including addressing any questions or concerns they may have.<\/p>\n
Staying informed on industry developments: Pharmacist will be responsible for staying up-to-date on industry developments, new medications, and changes in regulations to ensure the best possible care for our customers.<\/p>\n
