Develop and implement company-wide asset protection policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of all JCPenney locations.<\/p>\n
Train and educate store associates on asset protection best practices and procedures.<\/p>\n
Monitor and analyze store data to identify potential areas of risk and implement strategies to minimize loss.<\/p>\n
Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.<\/p>\n
Investigate and resolve any instances of theft, fraud, or other security breaches.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with store management to identify and address any security vulnerabilities.<\/p>\n
Manage and oversee the hiring, training, and performance evaluations of the asset protection team.<\/p>\n
Maintain a professional and positive relationship with local law enforcement and other external partners.<\/p>\n
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in asset protection technology to continuously improve and enhance current strategies.<\/p>\n
Communicate any pertinent information or updates regarding asset protection to all store associates.<\/p>\n
Create and maintain accurate records and reports related to asset protection activities.<\/p>\n
Respond to emergencies and crisis situations in a timely and effective manner.<\/p>\n
Enforce company policies and procedures related to safety and security.<\/p>\n
Ensure that all asset protection equipment and technology is properly maintained and functioning.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and HR, to ensure a holistic approach to asset protection.<\/p>\n

Bachelor’s Degree In Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Or Related Field.<\/p>\n

Strong Knowledge Of Investigative Techniques, Security Protocols, And Risk Assessment.<\/p>\n

Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage A Team And Interface With Store Management.<\/p>\n
