Develop and implement strategic plans to support the military and veteran community at Asuza Pacific University.<\/p>\n
Provide leadership and direction to the Military and Veterans Center team.<\/p>\n
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the center, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with university departments and external organizations to create a welcoming and supportive environment for military and veteran students.<\/p>\n
Develop and maintain relationships with military and veteran organizations to enhance resources and support for students.<\/p>\n
Stay current on military and veteran policies and regulations to ensure compliance and provide guidance to students.<\/p>\n
Create and manage budgets for the center’s programs and services.<\/p>\n
Supervise and mentor staff members to ensure a high level of performance and professional development.<\/p>\n
Develop and implement outreach and marketing strategies to increase awareness and participation in the center’s programs and services.<\/p>\n
Serve as a liaison between the university and the military and veteran community, advocating for the needs and interests of students.<\/p>\n
Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of programs and services, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.<\/p>\n
Represent the Military and Veterans Center at university events and meetings.<\/p>\n
Provide support and resources to military and veteran students, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate records and data on student demographics and outcomes, using this information to inform decision-making and improve services.<\/p>\n
Foster a culture of inclusivity, respect, and support for all members of the military and veteran community at Asuza Pacific University.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role In The Military Or Veteran Community, With A Strong Understanding Of The Unique Needs And Challenges Faced By Military And Veteran Students.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
A Demonstrated Commitment To Supporting And Advocating For Military And Veteran Students, With A Proven Track Record Of Implementing Programs And Initiatives That Promote Their Success And Well-Being.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
A Master’s Degree In A Relevant Field, Such As Higher Education Administration, Counseling, Or Social Work, With A Strong Academic Record.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Excellent Interpersonal And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With University Departments, Community Organizations, And Military Partners To Support Military And Veteran Students.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Experience Managing Budgets, Developing Strategic Plans, And Overseeing Staff And Volunteers, With A Strong Understanding Of Best Practices In Nonprofit Management.<\/p>\n
