Develop and implement programs that support student success and well-being, including academic support, personal development, and resource referrals.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with faculty, staff, and community partners to ensure a comprehensive and holistic approach to student support services.<\/p>\n
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs and make recommendations for improvements.<\/p>\n
Create and maintain a budget for student support services, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively.<\/p>\n
Hire, train, and supervise a team of student support staff, providing ongoing support and professional development opportunities.<\/p>\n
Serve as a resource and advocate for students, providing guidance and support as needed.<\/p>\n
Develop and maintain relationships with students and identify their individual needs, providing personalized support and referrals.<\/p>\n
Plan and coordinate events and workshops that promote student success and well-being.<\/p>\n
Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in higher education, and utilize this knowledge to enhance student support services.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other departments and organizations on campus to promote a seamless and cohesive support system for students.<\/p>\n
Oversee the collection and analysis of data related to student demographics, needs, and program outcomes.<\/p>\n
Communicate regularly with university leadership and stakeholders about the progress and impact of student support services.<\/p>\n
Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations related to student support services.<\/p>\n
Serve as a liaison between students and other university departments to ensure a positive and collaborative experience for students.<\/p>\n
Act as a representative of the university and uphold its values and mission in all interactions and decisions.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s Degree In Education, Counseling, Or A Related Field.<\/p>\n

Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Understanding Of Student Support Services, Including Academic Advising, Career Counseling, And Disability Services.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With Students, Faculty, And Staff.<\/p>\n
