Develop and implement program initiatives to support the success of underrepresented students in the TRiO McNair Scholar and Title V programs.<\/p>\n
Coordinate and facilitate workshops, events, and activities that promote academic excellence, career readiness, and community building.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with university faculty, staff, and community partners to provide resources and opportunities for students.<\/p>\n
Monitor and track student progress and provide guidance and support to ensure program goals are met.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate records and data on program participants and outcomes.<\/p>\n
Assist in the recruitment and selection process for program participants.<\/p>\n
Communicate program updates and opportunities to students, faculty, and staff through various channels.<\/p>\n
Manage program budget and resources effectively.<\/p>\n
Stay informed about current trends, issues, and best practices in diversity and higher education.<\/p>\n
Serve as a mentor and advocate for students in the program, providing guidance and support as needed.<\/p>\n
Act as a liaison between the program, university departments, and external organizations.<\/p>\n
Contribute to program evaluation and assessment to continuously improve program effectiveness.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other program coordinators and university departments to create a strong sense of community for underrepresented students.<\/p>\n
Attend and participate in relevant meetings, trainings, and conferences to stay updated on program requirements and best practices.<\/p>\n

Bachelor’s Degree In A Related Field (E.g. Education, Counseling, Social Work)<\/p>\n

Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Trio Program Or Similar Program Serving Underrepresented And Low-Income Students<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Understanding Of Title V Regulations And Guidelines<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills<\/p>\n
