Develop and implement strategies to cultivate and secure major gifts for Asuza Pacific University.<\/p>\n
Identify, research, and engage potential major donors to build relationships and solicit donations.<\/p>\n
Create and maintain a portfolio of major gift prospects, managing relationships and moves through the donor cultivation cycle.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other development team members to identify and strategically approach potential donors.<\/p>\n
Develop personalized cultivation plans for each major donor, utilizing a variety of communication and stewardship techniques.<\/p>\n
Utilize data and metrics to track progress and adjust strategies as needed.<\/p>\n
Act as a representative of Asuza Pacific University, communicating the mission and impact of the university to potential donors.<\/p>\n
Organize and execute fundraising events and campaigns to support major gift efforts.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of donor interactions and contributions.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other university departments to ensure major donors are appropriately recognized and stewarded.<\/p>\n
Stay current on fundraising industry trends, best practices, and techniques to enhance fundraising efforts.<\/p>\n
Participate in donor prospecting and research to identify new major gift opportunities.<\/p>\n
Meet or exceed fundraising goals and objectives set by the university.<\/p>\n
Build and maintain strong relationships with major donors to encourage long-term support for the university.<\/p>\n
Represent the university at community and networking events to expand the donor base and promote the mission of Asuza Pacific University.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s Degree In A Related Field Such As Fundraising, Communications, Or Business.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Major Gift Fundraising, Preferably In Higher Education Or A Similar Non-Profit Setting.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Cultivating And Stewarding Major Gift Donors, Including Securing Gifts Of $25,000 Or More.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Excellent Communication And Relationship-Building Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Engage With High-Level Donors, University Leadership, And Other Stakeholders.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Understanding Of Fundraising Principles And Best Practices, Including Proficiency In Donor Research, Moves Management, And Donor Database Management.<\/p>\n
