Provide expert legal counsel and support to all business units within Beckman Coulter.<\/p>\n
Advise on a wide range of legal matters including corporate law, intellectual property, contracts, and regulatory compliance.<\/p>\n
Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure company compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential legal risks.<\/p>\n
Conduct legal research and analysis to support business decisions and initiatives.<\/p>\n
Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and policies.<\/p>\n
Manage and oversee outside counsel relationships.<\/p>\n
Develop and implement legal strategies and policies to support the company’s goals and objectives.<\/p>\n
Provide training and guidance to employees on legal matters.<\/p>\n
Stay current on industry trends and best practices in order to provide proactive and strategic legal advice.<\/p>\n
Participate in corporate governance matters and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n
Support the legal team in handling any litigation or disputes.<\/p>\n
Represent the company in legal proceedings as needed.<\/p>\n
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.<\/p>\n
Continuously monitor and improve internal processes and procedures to ensure legal compliance and efficiency.<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
Minimum Of 10 Years Experience As A Practicing Attorney, Preferably With A Focus On Corporate Or Healthcare Law.<\/p>\n

Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Admission To The Bar In At Least One State And In Good Standing.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Strong Understanding Of Federal And State Regulations Related To The Medical Device Industry.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Advise And Influence Senior Management And Cross-Functional Teams.<\/p>\n
