Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing to ensure favorable terms for the company.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with design and production teams to understand product requirements and source materials accordingly.<\/p>\n
Monitor industry trends and advancements in sourcing practices to continuously improve the sourcing process.<\/p>\n
Manage the sourcing timeline to ensure materials are delivered on time and meet quality standards.<\/p>\n
Conduct regular quality checks on materials to ensure they meet Calvin Klein’s standards.<\/p>\n
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers to provide updates on sourcing progress and address any issues that may arise.<\/p>\n
Keep detailed and accurate records of sourcing activities, including costs, lead times, and supplier information.<\/p>\n
Assist in identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.<\/p>\n
Stay up-to-date with ethical and sustainable sourcing practices and incorporate them into the sourcing strategy.<\/p>\n
