Job Description:
We are looking for a highly energetic and passionate YouTube Content Moderator to join our remote team! As a Content Moderator, you will review and monitor user-generated content—including text, images, and videos—posted by students ranging from Kindergarten to high school. This role requires you to ensure the content adheres to our platform’s guidelines, creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Moderation: Review and moderate user-generated content (text, artwork, videos) submitted by students to ensure it is appropriate.
- Engagement: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends to effectively connect with and engage our young audience.
- Problem Solving: Independently address both technical and non-technical issues, offering solutions as needed.
- Content Quality: Maintain high standards of content control and quality by ensuring all content meets our platform’s guidelines.
- Customer Support: Address user concerns with empathy and professionalism, particularly when interacting with young users and their parents.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Tech-Savvy: Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new computer applications and tools.
- Trend Awareness: Knowledge of current trends to effectively engage with younger audiences.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to manage tasks independently and work remotely without direct supervision.
