Coordinate and oversee outreach programs within the City of Pittsburgh to ensure their success and impact in the community.
Work closely with community members and leaders to foster stronger relationships and promote a sense of unity and inclusivity.
Develop and implement strategies to engage and involve diverse populations in outreach initiatives.
Collaborate with various city departments and external organizations to identify and address community needs and concerns.
Serve as a liaison between the city and local organizations, providing support and resources to facilitate outreach efforts.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of outreach programs, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
Create and maintain a database of community contacts and resources to support outreach efforts.
Plan and organize events and activities to promote community engagement and involvement.
Communicate and promote the city’s values of equity, diversity, and inclusion in all outreach efforts.
Stay updated on current social and cultural issues within the community and use this knowledge to inform outreach strategies.
Maintain accurate records and reports of outreach activities and their impact.
Collaborate with other city employees and departments to promote a coordinated and cohesive approach to community outreach.
Represent the city at community events and meetings, advocating for the city’s outreach initiatives and building relationships with stakeholders.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve and expand outreach efforts to reach a wider audience and make a greater impact.

Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree In Social Work, Counseling, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working With At-Risk Youth Or In Community Outreach.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With Diverse Populations.
Knowledge Of Community Resources And Services Available To Assist At-Risk Youth And Their Families.
Strong Organizational Skills And Ability To Manage Multiple Tasks Simultaneously.
