Oversee all accounting and financial reporting activities for designated country/ies within the organization
Ensure accuracy and compliance with international accounting standards and company policies and procedures
Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets for the designated country/ies
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and analyze trends and variances
Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance
Provide support for internal and external audits
Communicate financial information and analysis to management and stakeholders
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of accounting and reporting functions
Train and mentor junior accounting staff, if applicable
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including local authorities and auditors
Assist with special projects and ad-hoc requests as needed.

Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree In Accounting Or Finance: A Strong Foundation In Accounting Principles And Financial Reporting Is Essential For This Role.
Cpa Certification Or Equivalent: A Professional Certification Demonstrates Advanced Knowledge And Expertise In Accounting And Financial Reporting.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Accounting And Financial Reporting: Previous Experience In A Similar Role Is Required To Ensure Familiarity With The Complexities Of Country-Specific Accounting And Reporting Requirements.
Strong Understanding Of Local Accounting Standards And Regulations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Local Accounting Framework And Reporting Requirements, As Well As The Ability To Stay Updated On Any Changes.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Country Accounting & Reporting Specialist, One Must Be Able To Analyze Complex Financial Data, Identify Discrepancies, And Propose Solutions To Ensure Accuracy And Compliance With Local Regulations.
