Assist surgeons and other healthcare professionals in performing life-saving procedures, specifically in the area of Open Heart Surgery.
Maintain a high level of skill and knowledge in CVOR and open heart surgery techniques.
Work closely with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly sterilized and ready for use.
Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide necessary instruments and supplies in a timely manner.
Continuously monitor and assess the patient’s condition during surgery, reporting any changes or concerns to the surgical team.
Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment in the operating room.
Participate in the training and orientation of new team members.
Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and techniques in CVOR and open heart surgery.
Foster a collaborative and positive work environment with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all procedures and patient information.
Adhere to hospital policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Job Qualifications
Certification As A Surgical Technologist: Candidates Should Possess A Valid Certification As A Surgical Technologist From An Accredited Institution.
Previous Experience In Cvor And Open Heart Surgery: Candidates Must Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Cvor And Open Heart Surgery Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Surgical Procedures And Equipment: Candidates Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Surgical Procedures, Including Sterilization Techniques, And Be Familiar With Various Surgical Instruments And Equipment Used In Cvor And Open Heart Surgery.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Candidates Must Be Able To Handle The High-Stress And Fast-Paced Environment Of Cvor And Open Heart Surgery, While Still Maintaining Attention To Detail And Accuracy.
Exceptional Communication And Teamwork Skills: As Part Of A Surgical Team, Candidates Must Have Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Surgeons, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Professionals In The Operating Room.
