We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Step Down/Progressive Care team. Provide exceptional patient care to a diverse population in the Step Down/Progressive Care unit.
Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical staff.
Document and maintain accurate medical records for each patient.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatments, and medication regimens.
Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and adhere to infection control protocols.
Act as an advocate for patients and ensure their needs are met in a timely and compassionate manner.
Continuously assess and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
Stay current on new developments and best practices in nursing and implement them into clinical practice.
Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to creating a culture of continuous improvement.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current knowledge and skills.

Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.
Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Florida.
Bls And Acls Certifications From The American Heart Association.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Recent Experience In A Step-Down Or Progressive Care Unit.
Strong Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
