Providing compassionate and dedicated patient care to a diverse population in the General Adult Psych unit
Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
Assessing and monitoring patients for signs of psychiatric disorders and providing appropriate interventions
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Educating patients and their families on mental health and wellness strategies
Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records and documentation
Communicating effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure high-quality care
Adhering to all safety and infection control protocols
Participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities

Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution: To Be Considered For A Rn Position At Yale New Haven Health System, Candidates Must Have A Minimum Of A Bachelor’s Degree In Nursing. This Ensures That The Individual Has A Comprehensive Understanding Of Nursing Principles And Practices.
Current Rn License In The State Of Connecticut: Candidates Must Be Licensed As A Registered Nurse In The State Of Connecticut In Order To Be Eligible For A Rn Position At Yale New Haven Health System. This License Ensures That The Individual Has Met The State’s Requirements For Education And Competency In Nursing.
Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience In Adult Psychiatric Nursing: The Position At Yale New Haven Health System Specifically Requires Experience In Adult Psychiatric Nursing. Candidates Must Have At Least 1 Year Of Experience In This Field To Be Considered For The Role.
